Listing Lift

For B2B SaaS vendors listed on a third-party app marketplace - not for consumer app stores

Listing LiftDo buyers find your app on the marketplace - and does the listing turn a view into an install?

Paste your listing on one third-party app marketplace, the words buyers search for and your review history, and get keyword coverage, title convention, gallery, review velocity and claim provenance checked, then the rewritten indexed fields and first screen, or the review-velocity and refresh program. For your own listing on Salesforce AppExchange, the HubSpot App Marketplace, the Atlassian Marketplace, the Shopify App Store or the Slack Marketplace. Your browser flags buyer terms missing from the indexed fields, a keyword-first name where brand-first is documented, pricing or a review claim in a screenshot, duplicate and logo-only images, a video over the ceiling, no review in 90 days, discounts for reviews, dashboards switched off and a listing nobody owns, labels every ranking claim, and writes a listing draft that only reorders and trims the gallery.

The marketplace, the listing and the words buyers type free

A term may be several words ("sales tax report"); it is matched as the same whole words in one line of a field. The source after a bar, a dash, a colon or in brackets: support tickets, sales calls or the marketplace's search-term report.

#n | kind (screenshot, video or logo) | caption | notes. Notes the page reads: shows pricing, review or rating claim, duplicate of #n, logo only, contains customer data, browser chrome, mockup, and the roles hero, differentiator and most-loved.

Every field is copied exactly as you pasted it; only the gallery changes - pricing or review claims in images, duplicates and (on Shopify) logo-only images are dropped, and the rest is ordered hero, differentiator, most-loved by the roles in your notes. No copy, price, review count or badge is ever written here.

How it works - and what is sourced

The checks follow the skill's two splits (data-rich versus data-dark, confirmed versus inferred), its three menus (instrumentation, the optimization-investment ladder, review velocity), its failure modes and its five plan gates, plus its references on the five marketplaces' levers and on the mobile-app-store analogy. Nothing is fetched: the page reads what you paste. A buyer term is matched as the same whole words in one line of a field, so "sync" is never found inside "async" and "crm sync" stays its own term; a gallery asset is identified by its number, so two assets may share a caption.

Which fields count for search comes from the references, each with its label: on Shopify the name and subtitle (single-source inference) and the search-terms field (vendor-official); on Atlassian the summary (single-source inference); on AppExchange the title, description and keywords (single-source inference); on HubSpot the name and tagline (single-source inference); on Slack, where nothing is published, the name and short description by analogy with consumer app stores. Only Shopify documents a title convention (brand-first). Every ranking claim carries one label - vendor-official, corroborated inference, single-source inference or analogy - and the reply checker flags a claim stated without one or at a higher tier than the facts give it. Consumer app-store numbers are never quoted as B2B fact.

Every platform figure carries a dagger: Atlassian's summary of at most 250 characters†, a star rating after 10 reviews†, the auto-invite 30 days after purchase†; Shopify's search terms, up to five terms†; video ceilings of 30 seconds† on Atlassian, 30-90 seconds† on Slack, 2-3 minutes† on Shopify with screencast at most 25% of runtime†, and 1-3 minutes† on AppExchange; a lifecycle email converting at 5-10%†; 50 reviews in 30 days† outranking 500 static reviews†. A saved listing keeps a snapshot of its checks, so reopening it after a refresh cycle shows what moved.

† verify against the marketplace's current listing rules before relying on it - all five platforms revise them on an ongoing basis.
